Rail Travel
VIA Rail offers year round regularly scheduled train service between Prince Rupert and Jasper. The Rocky Mountaineer will provide service between Whistler and Jasper beginning in May 2006. Both services stop overnight in Prince George, BC.
Ferry Service
Prince Rupert is the northern terminus for the Inside Passage Route from Vancouver Island. BC Ferries also sail between Prince Rupert and Skidegate on Haida Gwaii / Queen Charlotte Islands.
The Alaska Marine Highway System operates between Bellingham, Washington and Prince Rupert continuing on to Alaska.
